Wow, it's been a hell of a long time since I've done any digital art. Dunno what made me even think of doing some today but I really wanted to get a nice photo-manip done, something I've been pondering for the last couple of days to do or not but because im such a lazy person I never get around to projects that are in my head. Today I finally did :D

Quite pleased with this one its really a more dark and and emotional piece then my first photo manipulation and for only being my second one its quite nice and simple. Just really needed a good stock image to get set on and work with and I managed to find this model shot which really kind of hinted at me saying "use meeeeeeeeeeee" which is weird since photos shouldnt do that :S

I'm going to have to agree with you mate, I don't like the text at all, it's too polished and too white... I know it has to stand out but it kind of punches you in the face with its modern sans-serif styling and #fff colouring if you catch my drift... The shapes behind it seem too geometric as well, they don't really match the grunge brushes used elsewhere I feel.

Besides that I think this is a great photomanip, full of life and mystery. Another quarrel I have though is that the composition is missing something on the right hand side of the picture near his shoe, it just sorta goes black, makes the piece look empty.

Wow morning rant for me, should go back to bed! Cheers

Wow didnt pick that out, nice one mate ill be sure to think about it once I've redone the text :), I'll give you an update on whether im actually gunna gather the effort to redo the text and might add something else onto it. Thanks for the advice mate :D
